Red Ruler Drawings
This week in the class I am taking, we were challenged to do some sketches using red ink and a ruler. Here's what I've come up with so far: radicchio, rolling pin, Ringo, rear view mirror, and rain.
It's challenging making round objects with a ruler.
But drawing with a ruler really makes you stop and look at each twist and turn the subject has to it.
So far, I like my rear view mirror drawing the best. It reminds me of watching my dad draw his architectural drawings.
My BF challenged me to draw "rain". I studied a Jane Hu photograph for this sketch.
What projects (creative or otherwise) are you working on today?
