The River Arts "Summertime" Exhibition in Damariscotta, ME opened June 24, 2016. I have two pieces in the show, which runs until July 21, 2016.

What I enjoyed most (besides the chocolate and wine bon bons someone brought for the table) was seeing other artists' work and talking to them about their process. The people I talked with, including artists Barbara Bean (loved the detailing in her botanicals), Ann Slokum (the textures and richness of color in her mixed media pieces are good enough to eat), Jackie Melissas (her pottery looked like folded fabric and leather to me), and Ed McCartan (whose generosity and depth of knowledge about art is infectious). I came away totally inspired.

What artists inspire you? I'd love to hear about it!
