I finished three 2" x 4" spiral ornaments this weekend. These are made from hand-stamped paper, washi tape and thread on papier mache.
I hand-stamped silver paper using my own hand-cut stamps and used bits of that paper to cover the papier mache form. Then, I cut washi tape and thread and punched out little dots and glued those individually on top of the silver background.
Here's what the ornaments look like finished. With the final coats of varnish to protect the surface, these ended up with the look and feel of fabric.
I currently have these three spiral ornaments available in my shop and will be adding more over the next couple weeks. Other ornament designs are also available.
