Working in a Series

Some people think working in a series is boring. But, I find it can be meditative at times.

Granted, it can be challenging to find and make slight changes so each piece is, in its own way, unique.  But, that's part of the fun. No two refrigerator magnet art collages, for example, are exactly alike.

I find putting limitations on a project, like color, materials, size of the canvas, and even composition can bring with it a deeper understanding of these concepts that can, later, be used on larger canvases.

Do you put limitations on your work? If so, how does that influence your artwork?
