Yesterday, my Quilted Lobster collage took a different turn. I was trying to figure out what to put in the foreground. If you remember from previous work in progress pictures, I had a vase under the window. I liked the vase, but decided it conflicted with the lobster. I took it out. That livened up the picture for me.
I am in the process of adding ferns to the foreground (similar to the finished fern on the left). The plan is to add some Queen Anne's lace, a train on the tracks in the upper part of the collage, finish details on the lobster, and then I'll see from there. I had some houses and trees planned for the upper right hand corner, but I am liking it as is. I will decided about those as I get closer to finishing the collage.
