Work in Progress: How one element can change the scene

I'm considering putting a woodpecker in this tree. Here's how just one collage element can influence the whole scene. I know where I like the bird the best. Do you have a preference? Weigh in!

Woodpecker 1: Looking into the scenery; helps keep the viewer's eye moving around the piece.

Woodpecker 2: Gives the scene a focal point; keeps the eye moving into the picture, but a little less so than the first one.

Woodpecker 3: Gives the collage a focal point; lessens the movement around the canvas; directs attention more to the tree than anywhere else on the canvas.
